WestCare is a healthcare remittance service operated by Medpharma Alliance International Ltd., enabling subscribers abroad to pay annual subscription fees for healthcare coverage for dependents in Ghana.

Service Model:
WestCare operates as a healthcare remittance platform, connecting international subscribers with healthcare services for their dependents in Ghana through a comprehensive digital healthcare ecosystem.
Acceptance of Terms
Legal Agreement
By downloading, registering, or using the Medpharma App, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use the App or its services.
Service Provider
Medpharma Alliance International Ltd. operates WestCare as a healthcare remittance service, facilitating connections between international subscribers and healthcare providers in Ghana.
Eligibility Requirements
Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Dependents under 18 are managed under the primary subscriber's account with guardian consent.
Account Management
Primary subscribers are responsible for managing all dependents' accounts and ensuring proper authorization for healthcare services and data processing.
Registration and Account Security
Account Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account.

Payment and Subscription
Payment Terms
Subscription fees are payable annually via approved financial service providers (FSPs). All payments are processed through secure third-party channels to ensure the safety of your financial information.
Important Notice
Failure to renew your subscription may lead to suspension of healthcare access. Please ensure timely payment to maintain continuous coverage.

Licensed healthcare providers who deliver medical consultations, treatments, and care services.

Registered insurance underwriters who provide coverage and claims processing services.
Payment Intermediaries
Approved payment intermediaries who facilitate secure cross-border transactions.
Important: Medpharma coordinates these services but does not directly provide medical treatment or insurance underwriting. All medical care is provided by licensed third-party practitioners.
Use of the App
You Agree Not to Use the App To:
- Upload harmful, unlawful, or infringing content
- Interfere with system security or attempt unauthorized access
- Misuse telemedicine services for emergencies or unlawful requests
- Engage in fraud, impersonation, or abusive conduct
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
Consequences of Violations
Violations may lead to suspension or termination of service. We reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect our platform and other users.

WestCare facilitates access to healthcare providers but does not offer direct medical advice or diagnosis. All consultations are provided by licensed third-party practitioners.
Medpharma is not liable for any clinical decisions or outcomes. All medical care and treatment decisions are the responsibility of the licensed healthcare providers.
Emergency Notice: For medical emergencies, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. WestCare services are not intended for emergency situations.
Third-Party Services
The App connects users to external partners such as pharmacies, laboratories, and courier services. Medpharma is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the actions or omissions of these third-party providers.

Our Role:

All content, trademarks, and technology associated with the App remain the property of Medpharma or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute the App or its content without authorization.
Protected Content Includes:

- • Trademarks and logos
- • Health content and educational materials
- • AI chatbot technology (Kobikuul)
Permitted Use:
You may use the App for its intended healthcare purposes only. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time through the App or by contacting support@medpharma.care. Upon termination, your access to services will cease, but we may retain certain information as required by law.
Termination by Medpharma
Medpharma may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice when possible and explain the reason for termination.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.
Limitation of Liability
To the Fullest Extent Permitted by Law, Medpharma Shall Not Be Liable For:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
- Medical, technical, or operational errors arising from partner services
- Third-party service interruptions or failures
- Network connectivity issues or technical problems
Maximum Liability
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the current subscription period. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medpharma, its affiliates, and partners against any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms. This includes reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred in defending against such claims.
Governing Law and Disputes
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Ghana.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes. If we cannot resolve a dispute through direct communication, we may agree to participate in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation.
Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app, email, or other appropriate means.
